The storm

Here you go. The reason for my un-voluntary blog break for a week. This is just parts of one of our birch trees in front of the house. During the storm last weekend it broke in half and it was just a miracle no one got hurt. 20 minutes before we had our car parked there while unloading, with the kids in it... The telephone line was also torn down and that is why it has been silent here, crazy forces of nature. One fire truck and 6 fire men later, it was off the street but now we have to take down both of my tree loves.I guess what needs to be done, needs to be done. Good bye trees, will miss you.
