Working from home

This pic reminded my of the situation I´m in now. I´ve always been working in an office but with the new turn in life my office is my home when not on shoots or out looking for things. The only difference is now that instead of sitting under a blanket with a hot cup of tea avoiding the darkness and cold outside, I now have the window open - listening to the birds trying to tell me to go out for a while.What do you prefer, working from home or in an office?

Going to paint

...at least that´s what I´ve been promising myself for the past five years - that I´m going to paint one of our bathrooms into dark grey instead of the left-over-small-flowered-over-the-top-romantic-wall paper that we have going on in there right now. The former owner of our house had pretty good taste in many things but something went wrong here... And even though I have to admit that sometimes during the darkest months of the year I kind of enjoy getting an overdose of indoor, up the wall flowers - seeing these pictures from Decor 8 made me promise one more time. If I finally do it, I´ll make sure to show you the before and after.

On the black & white note I just spotted these great pics from Yves Saint Laurent & former partner Pierre Berges home in Paris at Lotta Agatons blog. Love how it creates the atmosphere of stepping into an old movie. Captured by Hedi Slimane like many other absolutely great things!
