My window

It´s not my window from home but from a job I did for IKEA Livet Hemma the other week. I have to admit that I´m really shy about showing my work but since the comments from some of you is that you wish to see more of just that, my promise to you is to deliver more on that end....I hope you like it and maybe more than my husband who is a little bit too concerned about how to open that window without too much of a hassle :)

Thank you to fotographer Patric Johanson, Hanna Meijer & the rest of the team for a great day!

Working from home

This pic reminded my of the situation I´m in now. I´ve always been working in an office but with the new turn in life my office is my home when not on shoots or out looking for things. The only difference is now that instead of sitting under a blanket with a hot cup of tea avoiding the darkness and cold outside, I now have the window open - listening to the birds trying to tell me to go out for a while. What do you prefer, working from home or in an office?

Winter turning summer

I just have to show you these pics from the IKEA campaign styled by Lotta Agaton & shot by
Mikkel Vang. This was the project mentioned a few weeks ago that I was working on, assisting Lotta, on really early and crazy cold mornings. And how fun it was - really great team and absolutely beutiful sunrises in a winter crispy Stockholm.

More behind the scenes pics here.

Click click

Today is one of the first days of proper own work for me as a stylist. Sure there has been some things before but today we are going all in & hoping for the best. Still missing a few things like LOTS of nice coffee table books but lets go anyway. Wish me luck...

Thank you!

I want to dedicate this Tuesday to say thank you to my mentor for the past 6 months, Lotta Agaton. Last week I ended what has been 6 incredible months of learning, doing, helping, mistaking, succeeding, laughing, lifting, climbing, wrapping, searching, fixing & finding. I almost can´t believe that it is already over but when I think about all the projects and shoots we have been through I realise a lot has happened throughout the time. I´m so grateful to have had the chance to work with the very best interior stylist Lotta & amazing assistant Lina Törneman. You both have been so generous and helpful & have made this time something that I will never forget. Is is fairytale-like to not even a year ago have decided to do a complete change over in careers & now some months later have worked with you both & photographers like Pia Ulin, Magnus Mårding, Åke E:son Lindman, Filip Karlberg, Mathias Nero, Mikael Dubios, Pelle Bergström, Idha LindhagMikkel Vang & clients like Therese Sennerholt, NK Inredning, Iittala, Scandic Grand Central, Södra Interiör, Coop, Ikea, Kasthall, Voice, Samsung, H&M Home, Vodka, Bo Concept & Hackman.

One of the best parts was also the Master Class at Beckmans in interior styling, loved it & learnt so much that I will bring with me in the future. It was also a great experience to take part in the opening of Lotta Agaton Shop that is now up and rolling, and probably where I will spend many of my Thursdays as a continuously loyal client & support.

Also big thanks to all talented photographer assistants that I´ve met and hopefully will work with soon again & all other production  people that makes the whole thing go around. Another special thanks of course to Anna Ploman & Petra Bauer at Agent Bauer.

Holy moly - it´s almost like the Oscars! But really - Lotta, thank you from the bottom of my heart, it has been an invaluable learning pleasure!! And Lina, thank you too for teaching me so many things. Looking forward to work with you both soon again! And will value our friendship dearly always.

Anna xx

Bye Bye Big Apple! And Hello!

Back in Stockholm after 4 great days and nights in New York. Sorry for no up dates while I was there but I was the worst at not using the camera. If you are interested in some reports my fellow travellers where much better at up dating, so please feel free to have a look. Now I just have to get rid of this stubborn flu because I have so many things that I´m exited to start with. I really haven´t had the chance to tell you that I did my last day with Lotta Agaton just before NY and now it´s up to proof on my own. So please bye bye jetlag & flu & welcome new times!

Round shapes

I´m still in to round shapes and love these pics with natur wood. Reminds me of my own picture from Beckmans & the hassle of getting them perfectly black.

Out in the white

If we spent the weekend working inside without windows we will surely compensate the loss of air during this week. Four days of outdoor shooting with start long before the sun comes up. It is going to be crazy cold so hopefully my new boots will do their job. Wish you all a great week!

Kasthall

More work that I want to tell you about. Like I said about the weekend it was spent at the display of Kasthall preparing for the up coming Furniture Fair. It is really going to be something to keep an eye on if you are going, lots of fun details to study among all of Kasthall´s high quality products. I always like Lotta´s styling and this time is no exception as you can walk around quite a small area finding new things for a very long time. Kasthall is truly one of the brands who realise that putting effort into their marketing pays off. How many times have you for example seen above pictures? Probably lots of times and for a very good reason, they look so good. Can assure you that the new ones we did a while ago are equally pretty - the last one is an example of that.

Södra Interiör

Good Monday morning to you all! I realised I´ve forgotten to show you some stuff from work that are now official. Great pics from Södra Interiör, as always styled by mentor Lotta Agaton - this time fotographed by Mikael Dubois.

Working Sunday

Sunday and second day of weekend work and I love it. We are preparing for the up coming Stockholm Furniture Fair, building Kasthall´s showroom and display. Nice people, inspirational atmosphere & the feeling of something great soon to happen. Don´t miss it!

Assistant wanted

No it´s not for me, but for my mentor Lotta Agaton. The very best Lina is moving on to new great things and is leaving some pretty big shoes to fill but if you are interested - of course you should apply. Many great things to learn in the world of interior styling and interior in general. I´ve learnt so much during my soon 6 months with Lotta & Lina that will come very in handy now that I´ll try my own wings so I´m sure that this opportunity is great for anyone looking for similar things. Read more over at Lotta´s. And! If that is a too big step to take, you might want to attend the course I took at Beckmans - also with Lotta as teacher. Can only recommend it, probably the most fun weeks during this whole period - both inspiring school assignments and work with fun shoots on the side. Damn, I´ll miss this thing! But I´ll keep the memories close.

Good luck if you apply to any of the two!

Instead of

Trying to collect pictures for a moodboard for one of my projects and can´t seem to find anything good enough. But these ones I liked even though they didn´t fit into my original theme, so here we go - vintage touch to this Friday.
